Project Summary –

Following a weekend of high winds, the roof of a redundant grain silo was dislodged to the point of collapse.

Actions taken:

Within two hours of notification, a representative from B.D.B was on site assessing the project. Immediate response was to secure and make safe the roof due to forecast high winds. The upper floor was assessed as to its durability as a temporary roof structure. Roof and wall structures were removed down to top floor level. Structure made safe from trespassers and/or vandalism through the removal of access ladders. On completion of the project a report, with photographs, was prepared and sent to the client.
