Removal of assorted plant from within a food factory environment to allow improved efficiency.

Actions taken:

Definition of project scope. Identification of Client’s production requirements. Confirmation of service isolation and agreement of working times and access to minimise conflict with the Client’s undertakings. Full screening of active food production area, to prevent contamination of foodstuffs. Detailed povision of working arrangements to allow safe systems of work adjacent to live plant. Utilisation of a variety of dismantling techniques to allow recovery and re-use of plant. Detailed lifting programmes for movement and manipulation of plant. Provision of resources for fabrication and installation of new mezzanine floor. Project review with Client to promote future partnership approach to projects.
