Actions taken:
Clearance of site debris. Identification and disposal of chemical wastes and samples. Controlled stripping and disposal of asbestos products and other fibrous wastes using approved contractors. Decontamination and removal of chemical feed lines to dye plant. Dismantling of dye preparation plant and tankage for re-use. Dismantling and capping of site effluent system. Demolition of fuel cells and other non-saleable plant. Controlled dismantling of carpet backing plant for re-location. Site clearance and making safe of voids and chambers.
